Faith and Life

To have faith is to defy logic. It takes faith to think positively. It takes faith to believe that there is a loving G-d who cares deeply about our pain. To believe in life, the universe, or yourself after numerous failures is to have courage. Faith is an act of courage. It is choosing to get up in the morning and face our fears and believe that G-d will help us. Faith is choosing to believe that even though we may have failed one hundred times before that we can succeed the next time.
Life is a lot of work. What is it that gives us the strength to continue when we are tired and burned out? Sometimes an inspirational idea can help us renew ourselves and be filled with strength to fulfill our life's purpose. Inspiration comes in many forms. However, the root of all inspiration is the idea that our lives are meaningful. Inspiration is knowing that what I do matters deeply to the universe. When you have the feeling that your actions are meaningful, you will become filled with strength and vigor to fulfill your life's purpose.

Life is the sum of experiences that we encounter as we go through life. Day to day struggles and triumphs are experienced by all of the world's creatures. As human beings, when we encounter a challenge, we have freedom to choose how to react. Every decision that we make leads us down a different road. We will never come to exactly the same crossroads. Every decision the we make has significance. The tiniest choice that we make reverberates throughout the entire universe.

Builders of Characters

We are builders of our own characters. We have different positions, spheres, capacities, privileges, different work to do in the world, different temporal fabrics to raise; but we are all alike in this, — all are architects of fate.
You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one.
Be your character what it will, it will be known, and nobody will take it upon your word.
Reputation is what men and women think of us; character is what God and angels know of us.
Nothing of character is really permanent but virtue and personal worth.
The essential thing is not knowledge, but character.
It requires less character to discover the faults of others, than to tolerate them.
A fair reputation is a plant, delicate in its nature, and by no means rapid in its growth. It will not shoot up in a night like the gourd of the prophet; but, like that gourd, it may perish in a night.
Sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character; sow a character, and you reap a destiny.

Life

Many great people have come before us. Through their actions and through their words, they have inspired us to achieve our own greatness in life, to challenge the status quo, to reach for the stars and to overcome the gravest of hardships.

One of the great things about these quotes about life is that they can crystallize something you have been thinking about on your own. It can capture the very essence of a moment.
Take President John F. Kennedy's visionary inaugural address statement: "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country." The call to greater service than self energized an entire nation, leading to a new age of social, cultural, economic and technological growth, including taking us to the moon and back by the end of the decade.

Quotes to live by can serve as important affirmations in our lives, reinforcing our thoughts on service, happiness, grief, excellence, commitment, quality, passion - any number of things that are part of the human experience.

For example, a life quote on not having regrets is captured beautifully by John Gardner: "Life is the art of drawing without an eraser."
In nine simple, elegant words, he paints with broad brush strokes the importance of having passion, about living life fully and without having any desire to change anything that transpires - it is a quote about life that is born from living it and expressing its lessons to others.

As you can see, life quotes can come in really handy in your own life. If you've ever been called on to speak, you know how important the right quote can be in setting the stage. It doesn't matter if you're speaking at commencement upon graduation, making a presentation to the local chamber or raising a toast as best man at your brother's wedding, the right quote of life can make or break an occasion.

So, how do you go about finding the perfect quote? In the old days, you had to make a trip to the library and sort through a bevy of books in the hopes of lucking out and finding one quote that could work. Nowadays there's the Internet, and even if you only know a snippet of a quote or the name of its originator, you can use search strings to find it quickly and easily.

There's no right or wrong Quote about Life, of course. They can be very personal and meaningful, if only to you. They can serve as the point of a compass to guide you in your own life or be used as the opener, and even a showstopper, in a speech.

In fact, that is one of the best uses for a quote on life. While it can be hard, if not impossible, for the ordinary person - or even an experienced writer - to capture the theme or essence of a speech or presentation - the right quote can do it quickly and effectively. It can save you hours of toying with words or stressing over the empty page that is before you, deadline looming.

Imagine if you opened with a line like, "The only mistake in life is the lesson not learned," by Albert Einstein, and then launched into recollections of your own life and how others can learn lessons from it, not only trying to motivate yourself but motivate others with Motivational Quotes.

Or perhaps, adding some levity to a reception toast with, "All marriages are happy. It's living together afterward s that is difficult." ...Funny Quotes. Just be sure you go on to explain to the new bride and groom - along with their glaring family - that they have obviously found the secret to making it look easy.

As you see, the right quotes about life can really capture a moment. It can take you out of a tight spot when you're called upon to speak. It can help lift you out of a moment of despair. It can inspire you to achieve greatness. And it can propel you forward in life, knowing that others who have come before you have already tread in your shoes, showing you the way through their enduring words.

Enthusiasm and Excitement

“The real secret of success is enthusiasm. Yes, more than enthusiasm, I would say is excitement. I like to see people get excited. When they get excited, they make a success of their lives. You can do anything if you have enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eye, it is the swing in your gait, the grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of your will and your energy to execute your ideas. Enthusiasts are fighters. They have fortitude, they have staying qualities. Enthusiasm is at the bottom of all progress. With it, there is accomplishment. Without it, there are only alibis.”

Friend And Acquaintance

There is a difference between being an acquaintance and being a friend. An acquaintance is someone whose name you know, who you see every now and then, who you probably have something in common with and who you feel comfortable around.
It's a person that you can invite to your home and share things with. But they are people who you don't share your life with, whose actions sometimes you don't understand because you don't know enough about them. On the other hand, a friend is someone you love. Not that you are "in love" with them, but you care about them and you think about them when they are not there. The people you are reminded of when you see something they might like, and you know this because you know them so well. They are the people whose pictures you have and whose faces are in your head regardless.
Friends are the people you feel safe around because you know they care about you. They call just to see how you are doing, because a friend doesn't need an excuse. They tell you the truth, the first time, and you do the same. You know that if you have a problem, they are there to listen.
Friends are the people who won't laugh at you or hurt you, and if they do hurt you they try hard to make it up to you. They are the people you love, regardless of whether you realize it.
Friends are the people you cried with when you got rejected from colleges and during the last song at the prom and at graduation. They are the people that when you hug them, you don't think about how long to hug and who's going to be the first one to let go.
Maybe they are the people that hold the rings at your wedding, or maybe they are the people who give you away at your wedding, or maybe they are the people you marry. Maybe they are the people who cry at your wedding because they are happy or because they are proud.
They are the people who stop you from making mistakes and help you when you do. They are are the people whose hand you can hold, or you can hug or give them a kiss and not have it be awkward because they understand the things you do and they love you for them.
They stick with you and stand by you. They hold your hand. They watch you live and you watch them live and you learn from them. Your life is not the same without them.

Beauty and Love

Whenever Beauty looks,
Love is also there;

Whenever beauty shows a rosy cheek
Love lights Her fire from that flame.

When beauty dwells in the dark folds of night
Love comes and finds a heart entangled in tresses.

Beauty and Love are as body and soul.
Beauty is the mine, Love is the diamond.
They have together

since the beginning of time-
Side by side, step by step.
